You're guessing, not testing.
Every year it's the same registration strategy, the same email cadence, the same sponsor deck. And every year you're white-knuckling it to hit your numbers.
· HOSTED BY JAY SCHWEDELSON
A 6-month mastermind for event marketers who are tired of figuring it out all alone.
The Reality
Every year it's the same registration strategy, the same email cadence, the same sponsor deck. And every year you're white-knuckling it to hit your numbers.
Nobody on your team has time to rethink the approach. Nobody at the conference is sharing what's actually working. You're making big-budget decisions in a vacuum.
Same format, same speakers, same lull in the afternoon. Attendees notice. So do the sponsors deciding whether to come back.
There's millions of dollars on the line. Sponsors are watching. Leadership is watching. And you're the one who has to pull it off.
None of this means you're bad at your job. It means you've never had the right room — until now.
Why I'm building this
I walked into a mastermind for the first time and the light bulb went off. In one conversation I saw things I'd been doing the hard way for 28 years.
28 years. That's how long I'd been grinding out events on instinct, when the answer was sitting in a room I'd never been invited into.
So I've built that room for event marketers. Because a single idea can be the difference between an event that's a success and one that flops. This room is where those ideas live.

If you're in a room with 50 of the world's top event marketers, do you think you'd walk away with one idea that brings in 14 new registrants?
Duh.
And you won't leave with one idea. You'll leave with hundreds.
For the people in this room, the more expensive decision is staying on the same strategy treadmill as everyone else.
Apply Now →The honest filter
I'm Jay. I've spent 28 years in the trenches of events and marketing — building, testing, breaking, and rebuilding the playbooks that actually move registration and revenue.
I run GURU Media Hub, home to some of the largest marketing events in the world, where we pull in over 50,000 attendees per year. (And one of my events, GURU Conference, was just acquired by Constant Contact, which was pretty cool!)
And brands like SAP, HubSpot, Spotify, NRF, AICPA, and Google all bring me in to help their teams figure out what's actually working.
More importantly, I've sat where you sit now: staring at a half-full room 3 weeks out, sweating a sponsor who's gone quiet, and wondering if this year's event will land. I've built the systems that fixed it, and now I want to put them in your hands.
The application
Every application is read by our team. We're not looking for the biggest title or the biggest budget. We're looking for the right people for this room. Here's how it works:
A few focused questions about you, your events, and where you're headed.
We make sure the room is right for you — and you're right for the room.
If there's a fit, we hop on a call to talk through goals and answer questions.
Accept your spot and you're officially an Eventastic Insider.
Before you apply
Your membership covers the full program and the in-person gathering itself. Travel and lodging to Boca Raton are not included. We'll share recommended hotels and logistics well in advance so it's easy to plan.
That depends on what you put in! But members come to fill more seats, land bigger sponsors, and build events people return to. Most members tell us a single idea from the room more than covered their investment.
One monthly virtual call, the always-on Voxer community at your own pace, and the 2.5-day gathering once during the program. It's built for busy operators, so high impact, no busywork.
Membership is individual so the room stays curated at 50. If you'd like to bring a teammate, reach out during your application conversation and we'll talk through options.
The gathering is the heart of the experience, so we strongly encourage you to attend. If you have to miss it, you'll still have monthly calls, Voxer, and every playbook — but plan to be in Boca if you can.
You apply, our team reviews for alignment, and if there's a fit we schedule a conversation. From there, qualified applicants receive an invitation to join. Spots are limited to 50, so we move quickly!
